FAQs

For answers to common questions about your cruise experience, please visit Royal Caribbean's FAQ page: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq

PASSPORT/TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Passports are required for all cruise guests. Passports must be valid until March 18, 2027, or 6 months after your return travel date. It is highly recommended that you make a color copy of your passport and keep it in your carry-on luggage. During your stay, there will be a safe located in your stateroom where you may keep it upon arrival. This will assist the consulate in expediting your return home in case of a lost passport.

SHORE EXCURSIONS
As noted on the Shore Excursions page, excursions are available to be booked on the app, online or while on board.

FLIGHT EXTENSIONS/UPGRADES
Any changes once your ticket is booked, upgrades, or costs associated with deviating from group travel dates will be at the traveler's expense. Flight seat upgrades or extensions are non-refundable per the airlines. All payments must be received before any upgrades or extensions will be confirmed.

INCIDENTALS
You will need to provide a credit card in your account in order to book any excursions, spa, specialty dining, etc. You will also need to provide that same card at check in.The cruise line will put a temporary hold of $99.75 on your card that will eventually be refunded back into your account. They ask that you check all incidental charges via your stateroom TV the night before disembarkation. If there are any discrepancies, you will need to work with cruise line prior to departure. Your card will be charged once you leave the ship.

CURRENCY
The cruise is a cashless system. You will get a room key which will be your form of payment throughout the duration of the sail. You will receive this at check-in. At the ports, it is all U.S. dollars, except for in Victoria. Credit Cards are also widely accepted at the ports.

CLIMATE
Expect cool, crisp, and often rainy fall weather. During the day, it will be between 40 - 50 degrees. At night, it could drop down to 30 - 40 degrees. You may see light drizzle or steady rain during the cruise, so please prepare to pack for that. Weather changes constantly, so please check prior to departure to see what the weather will look like.

TIME ZONE
You will start in Seattle, which is Pacific Time Zone (PST). As you travel to Alaska, you will move one hour back to Alaska Time (AKT). The cruising route on the Agenda page is changed to match the local time zone, so please be mindful of those changes as you reach different ports.
